Founded in 1805, Shigehisa Honpo has been producing black vinegar using a method that dates back over 200 years to the Edo period. This brown rice black vinegar is crafted through a natural fermentation and aging process, lasting over a year, in outdoor containers (kame) filled with domestically produced steamed brown rice, rice malt, and groundwater.

Natural Ingredients: Made without preservatives, fragrances, or chemical seasonings, this vinegar emphasizes pure flavors.

Rich in D-Amino Acids: This product contains D-amino acids, which are present at a concentration of 674mg per 100ml窶俳ver ten times the amount typically found in regular rice vinegar, as researched by Shiseido Co., Ltd.
