Delicious, it makes excellent, flavourful dashi when steeped in the fridge over night. The umami is rich and strong, it is the best dried shiitake I have used for this yet.

Very nice packaging and comes with a paper bag, meant to be for gifting. Although, after we unboxed it. There was less than what I had thought. They look great though!

Only shiitake mushrooms are super big, and the stewed chicken soup is super positive.
