Szechuan DanDan Noodle

How is this fresh? Look closely…the cucumbers were frozen! You can clearly see the ice surrounding it. I removed and then heated up the meat and noodles separately. I then tossed in the two sauces. It was overall tasty but the frozen cucumbers ruined it. Would have given it a five star rating if it was truly fresh.

Not the best meal from Wee. The chili sauce that comes with it is overwhelmingly salty—even using just half was too much. The noodles are dry and greasy, making the overall experience disappointing. Definitely not my favorite, and the taste lingers in an unpleasant way.

It's fine if you're ordering out of curiosity - who knows, maybe you prefer this taste. But I think if you're craving fresh Dandan mien, better off just order from a restaurant... or make your own! It smells and tastes like they just put together packaged Dandan sauce with some noodles/sliced cucumbers and decided to call it Dandan mien.
