Ippudo, a company well versed in tonkotsu ramen, has created a tonkotsu ramen flavor made only from plant-based ingredients.
Watanabe Seimen's "6002 Plant-Based Ramen 2 Servings" is a new style of ramen that recreates the tonkotsu flavor using only plant-based ingredients. This product was jointly developed with Fukuoka's famous ramen shop "Ippudo," and expresses the richness and flavor of tonkotsu ramen without using any animal ingredients. The soup is made with rapeseed oil, sesame paste, garlic paste, vegetable extract, onion powder, ginger powder, etc., recreating the mellow and deep tonkotsu flavor using plant-based ingredients. The spicy miso uses doubanjiang, chili peppers, miso, ginger paste, garlic paste, etc. to add a spicy spiciness and richness. The flavoring oil is based on rapeseed oil, with the addition of dried garlic and roasted onions to create a fragrant flavor.
