The fresh leaves of this Centuries-old Tree Black Tea are handpicked from ancient trees over 100 years old, located deep within the rugged mountains of Fengqing, during the spring harvest of one bud and two leaves. Due to the isolated and difficult terrain, with limited access and high challenges in cultivation and picking, these are truly wild mountain teas, also known as free-range teas. Unsurprisingly, they have passed national organic certification. The region's altitude is 2,300 meters, making it the highest tea-growing area in China. To prevent delays during the long journey out of the mountains, which could affect the optimal processing period, a tea processing factory has been built at the highest elevation in the country, ensuring the tea is processed immediately after harvest. This tea is managed and produced according to organic standards. The dried leaves are thick and robust, with a high, expressive aroma. The tea liquor has a rich, layered taste, carrying a unique wild autumnal charm. After aging, it develops notes of licorice, honey, and a refreshing coolness.

Steeping Guidelines

Recommended to use Gaiwan or Zisha teapot traditional Gongfu tea utensils, and brew the tea with boiling water at 100°C. The tea to water ratio is 1:25 and steep for 5 seconds. Increase the steeping time by 5 seconds for every subsequent steep. Enjoy it sip by sip, savoring the intricate flavors and aroma in each infusion.
