Inspired by komorebi (木漏れ日), or the dappled light that filters through leaves, this palm-sized ichirin zashi (一輪挿し) vase brings a sense of quiet warmth to any space.
Designed to hold a single flower, ichirin zashi vases celebrate the elegance of simplicity. This piece features soft swirls of blue, yellow, and white, echoing the gentle interplay of sunlight and foliage on a summer afternoon.
Compact yet eye-catching, it can be used as a single-stem vase, aroma diffuser, or decorative accent—bringing a refined touch to any space. Part of the Iro Temari (手鞠) series, the design takes inspiration from traditional temari—colorful embroidered balls—echoing the vivid patterns and changing palettes of the seasons.
Each piece is handblown by Tsugaru Vidro, a glassmaker with over 50 years of expertise. Rooted in the traditions of Aomori Prefecture, their work is known for its vibrant colors and refined craftsmanship.
