Bowen's Series Steamed Buns & Mantou
Using traditional sourdough fermentation techniques, naturally fermented, resulting in a rich wheat aroma and a chewy texture. Even after refrigeration or freezing, the dough remains fluffy and elastic after steaming or pan-frying, without becoming soft or sticky.
Instructions for Use
- Steaming: Place in a steamer after the water boils, and steam for about 15 minutes.
- Pan-frying: Heat a pan with a small amount of oil, add the buns or mantou, add about 1/4 cup of water, and heat over low heat for about 15 minutes.
- Microwave: Wrap each bun or mantou in a damp paper towel and heat for 30–40 seconds.
