Dry and tastes more salty than sweet. I tried to steam it thinking it would help the softness, but it did not. I don’t recommend.

After eating this steamed bun, I actually started making steamed buns myself! It was awful! Soft, mushy, and completely tasteless; clearly undercooked! Don't buy it!!! It gave me an upset stomach, so I threw it all away.
