The tangerine peel used in this tea comes from premium green mandarins harvested in July 2016 from the core producing area of Xinhui. These mandarins have full, oil-rich peel chambers, low acidity, and high nutritional value. The ripe Pu-erh tea is from 2015, sourced from Menghai, Yunnan—the birthplace of Pu-erh tea. It is made from carefully selected sun-dried large-leaf raw tea leaves from Menghai. Fermented off the ground, it is free from pile or off-flavors and rich in organic matter, resulting in a full-bodied brew.
The tangerine peel and ripe Pu-erh are blended in a specific ratio, creating a mellow base with a refreshing clarity and a unique depth of flavor. The aroma is a harmonious blend of citrus, fruity, and aged notes, calm and grounded. The tea liquor is sweet, smooth, thick, and gelatinous in texture, with a rich, full body and a lingering aged charm.
