This is an accompaniment to rice cooked with Japanese bonito and secret sauce by a long-established fresh fish restaurant in Kochi. The delicious flavor of bonito and the appetizing garlic give the dish a punch of flavor that will make your rice go down the hatch!
Founded 150 years ago, Ikezawa Honten has proudly continued to support the kitchens of the local people as a fishmonger in Kamimachi, the castle town of Kochi Castle, where many merchants and craftsmen lined the streets at the time. "Tosa no Aka Katsuo," a product made from Kochi's famous bonito, continues to be loved by the local people.
