Terrible. So dry. After one bite, my five-your-old immediately said, “grandpa’s nian gao is better” and then didn’t eat more. I added water and oil to soften it up and moisten while heating. Tried two different ways to heat (fry pan and microwave covered). Nothing made it taste better. I added some edamame beans as well because the greens that came with it were so minimal. Also smelled slightly rancid (when rice starts to smell sour). This is the 3rd or 4th item I’ve purchased from this restaurant and all have been disappointing.

I like it just need to add salt to it. Perfect for a quick lunch just heat and serve!
