DeZhuang Porcini Mushroom Soup Hot Pot Base 5.29 oz

A delicious addition to hot pot night. Very tasty flavor without any spice. Great for people who are sensitive to heat but want to eat hot pot.

I bought this on sale, so it was overall a pleasant experience. I tasted some of the soup on its own after pouring the bag out into my pot, and it tasted pretty good, with the type of umami flavor that I'm looking for. I don't know if anything about it stands out to me as being amazing per se, but it gets the job done and is affordable when on sale. It comes in a liquid form in a small clear package, and I used the whole thing on one side of my pot (yin yang style), while we had hot & spicy base in the other half.

A very classic mushroom flavor. Unlike most hotpot soup base, that come with a lot of aromatic in flavoring, this is more in the light side with only mushroom as the flavor base. It’s feels more like a “comfort” base. The comfort that you get from a chicken soup or porridge when sick. That what it feels like. Don’t have to use it for only hot pot. You can use it normally for your self like when you have a cold or just want something simple by adding in some noodle and egg.

I'm so glad Weee has this in stock again. The packaging looks very different but I hope the taste is still the same.
