Product Description

This is a "classic Taiwan black tea", made from the purely hand-picked green heart oolong which has a bud and two/three leaves per piece at an altitude of over 2000 meters in Taiwan's Lishan, and processed by the traditional method to form a unique flavor of Taiwan tea.

This tea not only inherits the gentle, delicate, and elegant characteristics of Taiwan tea, but also adds a warm, fruity-sweet flavor to the tea through a "full fermentation" process. The tea leaf is thick and elastic, and can produce a bright red color and enduring sweetness and mouth-watering immediately when soaked in water, which is the "high mountain flavor" of black tea.

Steeping time: 5s/5s/5s/10s* (for the 1st/2nd/3th/4th infusion respectively)

Origin & Process

Our selected Lishan Black Tea is from the tea plantation of Lishan, and made of the summer tea of the "green heart oolong" variety of Lishan Oolong, through the traditional process of making black tea, that is, rolling, fermenting, withering and drying. Hence, it retains the elegant and delicate characteristics of Taiwan tea, while also adds a rich taste of floral aroma and fruity-sweet to the tea, with an enduring sweetness and mouth watering. It is the "high mountain flavor" of black tea.
