About
Hangyeryeong Well-Being is a town cooperative of the pristinely clean farming village of Inje, Gangwon-do, producing food products with local produce and herbs.
They have an array of products now also available overseas, everything from arrowroot extract, and bellflower pear juice to oats, black soybeans, glutinous corn, barley tea, corn tea, and pine needle syrup. The cooperative also significantly contributes toward developing new local products and creating jobs for the community.

Description
There is a thing called nurungji in Korean food. It is the slightly burnt portion stuck to the bottom of the pot after cooking rice that is scraped off and eaten as a crunchy snack or boiled with water to have as an earthy porridge or sorts.
The thin nurungji chips come individually wrapped and packed 10 chips a box to ensure freshness and crispness. You will find the crunchy texture and mild but delightful flavor rather addictive. It is excellent as a simple snack or as a quick meal by adding water and heating it in the microwave.
