This is my second purchase! We finished it so fast that I didn’t get to take a picture of the cross section. It’s by far the best Eight Treasure Sticky Rice dessert on Weee! Very authentic Shanghainese style. I can taste the lard but it’s not oily compared to other brands I’ve tried. Bonus for using purple rice! It has a nice texture and they give a generous portion of red bean paste inside. Not too sweet! Highly recommend!

八宝米は料理と軽食のようなもので、色は明るく鮮やかで、もちもちしていて甘く、油っぽいですが脂っこくありません。息子が一番気に入っていて、「スイートライス」というあだ名をつけています。
