Known primarily as a rice cooker, the Tatung Electric Rice Cooker and Steamer is actually a double boiler and steamer that can gently braise, steam breads and buns, and reheat leftovers. The 11-cup is the best-selling size in Taiwan. Use it for heavy-duty kitchen tasks, like steaming a whole fish, braising a whole chicken, making bone broth, or simply making that party-sized batch of rice for a gathering. It can cook up to 11 cups of rice, which will feed your book club (unless you have a really popular book club).

Each Rice Cooker comes with a limited one year warranty against manufacturer defects, which is included in the manual. A receipt is required to validate the warranty. The warranty covers defective material and workmanship of your new Tatung product. If it's defective, the company will replace, exchange, or repair the product during the warranty period. This warranty also includes the cost of shipping the repaired/replacement product from the service facility to the customer. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from: improper use; improper cleaning, maintenance, or modifications; an accident, natural disaster, insufficient, or excessive electrical supply; theft or loss of product; wear and tear of the product under regular use; or any other improper treatment of the product.
