【Creative Recipe - Rice Cake Dish】

  1. Mix 450g of organic native rice flour with 4 times the water (1800 c.c.) to form a paste and set it aside.
  2. Heat it over low heat, stirring continuously until it becomes a thick paste (be sure to keep stirring to prevent burning).
  3. Transfer it to a ceramic bowl and place it in a steamer (with 2 cups of water in the outer pot for a Dihao electric cooker).
  4. Steam for about 10 minutes, then slightly open the lid (to allow steam to escape and prevent it from accumulating on the rice cake). Continue steaming. After 30 minutes, pour 1.5 cups of water along the edge of the pot and continue steaming until the electric cooker jumps off. Insert a chopstick and if it comes out clean without any paste sticking, it's ready.
  5. Sprinkle with toppings and drizzle with soy sauce glaze to enjoy delicious rice cake.
