It's all gone before I had a chance to share my experience. This pickled merkerel in vinegar is made to be eaten in raw as sashimi. I am not fond of eating raw fishes/sashimi but was able to enjoy it sliced on rice wrapped in seaweed without problem. Though the fish is raw but the pickling process makes it taste like semi-cooked without much fishy smell (if eaten all in one setting). If you want to try out sashimi, this pickled merkerel in vinegar would be a good start. This is a very budget friendly way to enjoy sashimi. Stock up while on sale!!
