My husband bought some fresh sushi ginger from a Japanese shop so we decided to have it with the century eggs. Although 1 egg arrived cracked & liquidy, the other 3 were fine as they were vacuumed sealed. I have 2 different brands (both from Taiwan that I got from Weee) on the plate. My husband feels that the top one doesn’t have much flavour and is a little bitter as compared to the bottom layer that tastes creamier, has more flavour & softer. The bottom layer is from the package pictured.

during the summer this is a refreshing dish to prepare at home! tofu with thousand year old eggs, bonito flakes, and soy paste!

Bought it twice.Super good and well packed with a quick steam in 6-10 mins to reheat.
