Aroy-D Jackfruit in Syrup are jackfruits that are peeled, prepared, and soaked in syrup. Jackfruits are similar in appearance to Durian, sharing a spiky exterior and yellow flesh. Since these fruits are mainly sold fresh, they must be consumed shortly after harvesting. The canning process allows for preserving its fresh taste so it can be enjoyed outside of its native environment. Canned jackfruit are perfect for dessert dishes--add them to shaved ice, enjoy them with coconut milk, or spear them with a fork and enjoy from the can!
