Tasted good but very thinly made

This is one of the most comforting and vietnamese appetizer in my opinion. The rice cake is silky and soft and perfectly steamed in banana leaves. The minced shrimp on top was so flavorful and well seasoned too! I steamed and halfway through flipped it to make sure both side is evenly cooked.

My mom enjoyed it. I wish it has sauce included but it doesn't. Little disappointed there but no big deal as I am Asian, I had fish sauce in the house to make dipping sauce for this cake.

Delicious, remind me of amazing breakfast in Vietnam. Very easy to make and super convenient to use!

The bánh nậm is tasty, though a bit thin. Overall, it’s still good to eat.
