Seasoned with pure, domestic Tsushima Hiragama salt and pure rice Fuji vinegar from Kyoto, they're simmered until tender, right down to the bone, in a sugar-free can. The sardines lack a distinctive fishy odor, and the broth is packed with the nutrients and umami of sardines. They're soft enough to be easily mashed with a spoon, so you can eat them without worrying about the bones, making them suitable for children and the elderly. The broth can also be used as a stock in a variety of dishes, including bento boxes and nursing care meals. The shelf life is approximately 36 months from the date of manufacture, and the easy-open can eliminates the need for a can opener.
