How to Make Duck Blood Tofu from Fresh Duck Blood
Ingredients:
- 1 lb fresh duck blood (defrosted)
- 1000g water
- 150g milk
- 10g salt
Instructions:
Prepare the Mixture:
In a large container, mix together 1000g water, 150g milk, 10g salt, and the defrosted 1 lb duck blood. Stir well to combine evenly.
Pour into Small Containers:
Use a second empty container to scoop and pour the mixture back and forth between the two containers 5–6 times. This helps to fully mix and aerate the liquid.
Set the Tofu:
Pour the final mixture into small containers or molds. Let it sit undisturbed until it becomes firm (solidifies). This may take some time depending on temperature.
Cook the Tofu:
Once set, cut the tofu directly in the container into cubes. Carefully transfer the cubes into boiling water and cook for 20 -30 minutes.
Ready to Serve:
Your duck blood tofu is now ready! Use it in hot pot, stews, or stir-fry dishes as desired.
