Got fun with this ice tray. I just tested it with water. I freezed it overnight after filling and pushing down to make water full filled the whole tray. The picture shows the result. The ice break in half when I opened it and got some “ice wings” around the balls. 2 sides of tray are not tight by itself since the tray is really light weight. The first try was failed, so I try again and succeed. As you can see that the ball isn’t completely frozen but I can still get it out beautifully. I got some tips for myself that I would like to share: 1. I need to put something heavy enough on the tray to close the gap in between while freezing 2. “Shower” (put it under running water) or “bath” (put it into the water for 1-2second) the whole tray before opening it so it’ll be easier to take the ice ball out of the tray.

Not very easy to use - the tray doesn’t stay closed on its own, so you have to put something heavy on top of it in the freezer. The ice ball isn’t a perfect sphere, but still looks pretty!

Works very well for large ice cubes! Use it for whiskey, fits perfect in whiskey glasses

These are awesome! They’re so big I had to use a mug instead of my fancy glassware . Be patient when it’s freezing. They take a while to get fully solid and if you open it too soon you’ll have a thin ice ball full of cold water . These keep your drink cold for a whole meal and after while socializing .
