Really, REALLY good! I was expecting with the big pieces of pepper that it was going to be very spicy. Thankfully (at least for me), it is not! It's nice and savory, with just a tiny hint of heat. The mushrooms and vegetarian "beef" are both very tasty and add a nice texture to the dish. The fact that it is self heating is its main draw, but you'll definitely be pleased with the fluffy, bouncy rice texture and overall taste. Definitely recommend, and will be buying again!

The cover looks good but the taste not so much. It taste like old rice mixed with preservative chemicals. ( if you want self heating rice pot that tastes a little better I recommend trying “ZiHaiGou”)
