Goma (sesame seeds) find their way into many Japanese dishes, adding a subtle nutty, buttery flavor.

Neri goma is similar to tahini but is typically made from unhulled sesame seeds which have been roasted for a longer period of time. This results in a nuttier flavor and the convenient paste form makes it easy to add to dishes when cooking and baking.

For over 150 years, Iwai’s Sesame Oil has been using traditional techniques to create their sesame products. Only the highest quality sesame seeds are selected and then sifted to remove any impurities. The seeds are lightly roasted before being slowly kneaded with a mill to create this flavorful and nutty spread.

Suggested uses: Use to add a nutty flavor to sauces, dressings, and desserts, including ice cream. Shake before using to reblend.
