Seolim’s Premium Jin Tuna Extract Sauce is a flavoring sauce best used for Korean Namul (나물, seasoned vegetables), Guk (국, soup), Jjigae (찌개, stew) and fried foods to add depth of flavor. Fermented over a long period with high grade tuna, daikon, kelp, onions, and the secret ingredient Agaricus mushroom extract are the melding flavors you can expect from this deep, non-pungent, umami-filled flavoring sauce. The agaricus mushroom is not only sweet, but it is known to have medicinal attributes (reduces physical and emotional stress, stimulates the immune system, aids in diabetes symptoms, reduces cholesterol, prevents osteoporosis and peptic ulcer, treats circulatory and digestive problems). The flavors of this sauce are drawn from natural ingredients that only require a few spoonfuls (tea or table depending on the dish) to add piquancy - in addition to traditional Korean dishes, we have tested Greek and Roman-Italian salad dressings with two teaspoons of this extract to substitute the anchovy with tuna flavors.
