Made with 100% organic tomatoes from southern Italy, this organic pizza sauce boasts a mellow, smooth sweetness. 
Using the hot-break method (crushing tomatoes and then heating them at high temperatures to bring out their rich texture and flavor), we create the perfect tomato paste for pizza sauce. The refreshing, rich flavor of organic tomatoes from southern Italy is enhanced with the sweetness of organic onions, and the aroma is enhanced with organic extra virgin olive oil from Italy and organic spices. The onions, sugar, brewed vinegar, olive oil, and spices are all certified organic. We use Mediterranean sun-dried salt from southern Italy's traditional sun-dried salt fields, which enhances the mellow acidity and sweetness of organic pizza sauce. No animal ingredients, seasonings (amino acids), or acidifiers are used. Perfect for pizza and pizza toast, or stir-fried with rice and chicken for chicken rice or pasta.
