Very soft sweet and tangy, fibrous, not starchy. Definitely a dessert. I prefer the large ones which are milder and more suitable for a meal.

Came with a great amount. By itself, it kind of tastes like a thicker consistency of a dried tamarind. It’s tart and slightly sweet so I ate it with some honey and it was not too bad. It doesn’t taste like a mini banana sadly and the seeds inside remind me of the seeds in a fig, edible and a bit crunchy but the taste is not overpowering.(: Fun to try but I wouldn’t order it again

Eversince I discovered these, they were a time saver. Pretty good quality. I used them for halo halo, bilo bilo, etc.

With caramelized coconut cream, brown sugar, anise! Yum!
