Known primarily as a rice cooker, the Tatung Electric Rice Cooker and Steamer is actually a double boiler and steamer that can gently braise, steam breads and buns, and reheat leftovers. The 11-cup is the best-selling size in Taiwan. Q: How does the 11-cup size differ from the 6-cup size?

A: It’s a larger size that has the same functionality, but fits more. For example, instead of steaming a fillet of fish, you can steam a whole fish. It’s a great size for a mid- to large-sized household or even an individual who loves to host and cook for parties.

Warranty

Each Rice Cooker comes with a limited one year warranty against manufacturer defects, which is included in the manual. A receipt is required to validate the warranty. The warranty covers defective material and workmanship of your new Tatung product. If it's defective, the company will replace, exchange, or repair the product during the warranty period. This warranty also includes the cost of shipping the repaired/replacement product from the service facility to the customer.
