Very bland. I put in 75ml less water after reading the reviews and it was still so bland. I love ddukguk but have never had the perilla seed ddukguk before. Adding the perilla seed mix made the soup base worse and more bitter. If you like perilla seed, you may enjoy the broth though. There are 2 servings in one bag. Next time I make it I will skip the perilla seed powder and maybe just use half the water recommended. I don’t think I will buy this again. I’ve had better microwaveable ddukguk.

Originally, I really like perilla seeds, but I bought them because they were on sale. I haven't tried it yet, but perilla sesame rice cake soup is hard to fail haha
