Haenam 半乾紅薯

An addictive and nutritious treat, these half-dried sweet potato slivers are made simply from 100% Korean sweet potatoes grown in Haenam, Jeollanam-do.  Chewy, savory, with just a hint of sweetness.  Good for the whole family, these snacks are perfect for hiking, camping, or road trips!

One hundred percent of the sweet potatoes in the pack is from Haenam, a county in the southwest tip of Korea known for its abundant sunshine and sea breeze.  They are dried through a few temperature methods that mimic the natural drying process - 1 kg of sweet potatoes makes 200g of Haenam Dried Sweet Potato Snack.  Of course, there's no added color, sugar or preservatives.

*Note: The white "frost" on the slivers is not mold; they occur naturally due to the natural sugars of the sweet potatoes, as the sugars sometimes crystallize. It is completely safe (and rather delicious) to eat!
