I originally thought it was a powdery seasoning like chicken essence, but when I opened it I found it was in the form of a paste, more like the American "better than bouillon". It needs to be refrigerated after opening.
I used it to boil red and white radishes and blanched green vegetables. It tasted very good, but I was very thirsty after eating it, so it should be full of MSG.
