I actually thought it was more like seaweed salad from Japanese restaurants. It's a light spice, not sour. It has a lot of small packages, great as a side dish.

A good side dish to add to plain things

My favorite kelp snack and I have purchased so many times already and will continue to repurchase. The kelp has a really good texture and flavor. Highly recommend trying!
