Kusefuku Shoten's "Richly Umami Konbu Dashi" 40g (5 packets of 8g) is a dashi pack made with the rich flavor of Hidaka kelp grown in Hokkaido, exquisitely blended with domestically grown dried mackerel, dried sardines, dried bonito flakes, dried bonito flakes from Yaizu, and grilled flying fish. The refreshing aroma of the dashi makes it ideal for dishes that bring out the flavor of the ingredients, and it's delicious even when chilled. It's basically boiled in water and can be used in a wide variety of Japanese dishes, including chawanmushi, soba and udon noodle soups, and hot pots.
