In addition to the same umami of bonito and scallops as "Gohan Desu Yo!", we have also added the umami of kelp. We use soy sauce sparingly to create a product that is not just sweet, but has a savory sweetness. The nori is produced in Japan (mainly harvested around Ise Bay). In order to make the most of the smooth texture of green nori, we have adopted the "morning cooking method" which is completed in a shorter time than "Edo Murasaki". It can be used not only with rice, but also in a wide variety of dishes such as pizza, toast, fried udon, tamagoyaki, and as a miso substitute for eggplant dengaku.
Momoya's "Nori Tsukudani Amai Desu Yo! 145g" is a sweet nori tsukudani made with 100% Japanese nori and the umami of bonito and scallops. It is characterized by its smooth texture and rich flavor because it is finished by using large leaves of raw nori as they are and cooking them in the morning. It has a strong sweetness, making it the perfect accompaniment to rice. The ingredients are seaweed (produced in Japan), soy sauce (contains wheat and soybeans), starch syrup, sugar mixed glucose-fructose liquid sugar, seafood extract (bonito, scallop), agar, seasonings (amino acids, etc.), stabilizer (tamarind), and caramel coloring. No preservatives are added, and after opening, store in the refrigerator (below 10‹C) and consume within 2 weeks using clean chopsticks.
