the meat of this mussel is very sweet and tender, but some need cleaning and rinsing on the outside before combining with other ingredients.
i found the mussel sac attached to seaweed in some that had to be removed.

It's already cooked. But I recooked it again as a dish that I usually like. I just sauted ginger, garlic and onion. Then add mussels and water for broth. For greens. I add spinach. Then salt or fish sauce to taste. YUM!
