Make your own ice cream—Pokémon-style!

This Pokémon Master Ball doubles as a working yo-yo and a mini ice cream maker.

Just add your ingredients, shake for about three minutes, and the interior chills to -7℃—freezing your mixture into a smooth, icy treat. 

It’s a fun, hands-on way for kids to explore the science of freezing point depression, all while making dessert.

Part toy, part science experiment, and 100% cool.

Required ingredients: 

• 4-6 small ice cubes, approximately 3cm.
• 30 g of salt. Reducing the amount of salt is not recommended.
• 25 cc of water.
• 50 cc of additional chilled ingredients for flavoring, depending on chosen recipe (ex: orange juice).

How to Make Ice Cream:

1. Pass the thin end of the yo-yo string through the indent of the main body in order to attach it.

2. Place your ingredients in the following order into the main body: ice, salt, then water.

• Note: When placing the ice, make sure it is placed flat. If there is not enough ice, it will not freeze properly.

3. Attach the gasket to the aluminum cup, place the aluminum cup in the main body, and add the ice cream flavoring ingredients (for example, for orange sorbet, add 50 cc of orange juice).

4. Put on the inner lid, then put on the outer lid (upper main body).

5. Align the mark on the upper body with the mark on the lower body, then turn in the direction of the arrow and close tightly.

6. To hold the yo-yo, pass your middle or index finger through the loop. If you feel strain or any discomfort on your finger, shake or roll the ball instead. Shake the yo-yo for approximately three minutes.

• Note: you can pause shaking & stir the ice cream with a spoon to help it solidify.

Important Safety Notes:

• Adult supervision required. Do NOT leave children unattended. For ages 6 and up.
• Be sure to check the enclosed instruction manually carefully before use.
• Do not play with the yo-yo roughly. Keep the yo-yo away from the face when playing.
• For safety reasons, do not use if the product is damaged or misshapen (check prior to use).
• Please enjoy your ice cream or sorbet immediately; do not save.
• Touching the ice or aluminum cup with wet hands may be dangerous as it may stick to your hands. Please be careful when handling.
• Before and after each use, remove each part and wash thoroughly with mild soap.
• Do not wrap the yo-yo string around your finger or neck.
• Do not place the Yo-yo toy in direct sunlight, near a heater or places where the temperature is excessively high, or in a refrigerator or freezer.
• Do not use a metal spoon as it will scratch the aluminum cup.
