Shanghai thick noodles are delicious, with a good texture, very chewy, and a large portion. I made a large plate of Shanghai fried noodles, which were all gone in a snap. I only remembered to take pictures when I was almost done eating. I plan to continue to buy them.

Don't buy the jumbo size. You pay extra but product is similar size to regular hamachi. I bought 2 jumbo and both were below minimum weight of 1.55.

I was worried because the finished product was flat, unlike the picture on the package, but the meat juice was well-absorbed and it was delicious. It's a super easy dish to make, so I'll be using it on days when I don't have enough side dishes! It came in a box of about 20 pieces.
