This was too sweet in the wrong kind of way I honestly expected a different taste since the other moon cake I tasted was utterly disgusting but this one was only a little bit better. I think it will taste better with tea or coffee or with something kind of bitter. The crust was the only real ok part.

this moon cake is the first one that I find not overpowerly sweet. it also has 1 salted egg yolk in it. the dough is great too, not too thick and the lotus seed filling is full of taste.

The egg yolk is really oily and has a slightly salty taste when eaten, which is better than Huahao Yueyuan and Jinhua. However, the lotus paste tastes less like white lotus paste and more like lotus paste moon cake, which is a bit hard. The sweetness is moderate and the price is reasonable. ?
The tin boxes I bought before were all sealed. This one has no seal. The mooncakes are also a bit damaged.
