Used this as a topper for homemade halo halo, but the wafer is HARD. I had to leave it soaking in the halo halo for it to be easier to chew. The wafers all came in the package unbroken, which is normally a good thing, but not in this case and that’s probably because it is so hard to eat!
A good flavor, but more toasted and thicker than others I have had before. I think it will be better if I eat it with ice cream or Halo-Halo rather than eating it by itself.

Loved these snacks growing up, but thought they were longer. They still tasted so good!
the bar quilts is not as light as the other brands.It was very thick and tasted a bit burnt. And the container is not fully packed of barquillos like other brands ,lots of broken pieces also.
It had been years since I’ve bought barquillos. I was a bit disappointed with this because I was expecting the barquillos to be packed horizontally. That being said, they used to be long - maybe 7-8 inches long. Now they are short, maybe 4 inches and fine. By that I mean, not hard. Some pieces are fine but some are hard. Not consistent.
