I bought 2 of these pre cleaned and butterflied catfish. I baked it in the oven for my family, they love it. Very good and not stinky. The meat is tender I used the head for sweet and sour soup, the body to bake. Can be used to make caramelized catfish too

I bought it to make braised cod, and it looks good and there's a lot of it.
It contained four fillets and a thin piece that looked like a tail.
I had it before and it was tasted a little bit 腥。 I’ll give it another try

Perfect size of each one
When buying fish with only Japanese labels, sometimes you get something different from what you expected, but this is "silver cod" and there is no mistake. The head, innards, and tail fin have been removed, but it is chopped with the bones still attached. Four pieces came, one of which is quite close to the head and has little meat, but this can't be helped since it is sold by weight. I cut it all in half, put two pieces in each small ziplock bag for snacks, filled it with a mixture of miso, mirin, and sake, and froze it. I defrost it and grill it as needed. It's a hassle because it has bones, but I'll grill it in Saikyo style for now. It doesn't taste bad.
There were four beautiful fillets inside. I'm going to make it into a Saikyo-yaki.
