The quality is better than average. Loves dried scallops due to the intense aroma. This is the Hokkaido variety. Very easy to rehydrate. Loves using it when I make sticky rice. Will rehydrate in just a few hours. Great to added to congee. Then it is better to rehydrate it overnight or eight hours or so.
When I got it, I thought it was a small bag, but after I soaked it, there was a lot of it.
