Dont overmix. I wait maybe a minute or two and you'll see the clumps will sort itself out and you will end up with a thick smooth batter. Cook on slightly greased pan. Because the batter is thick, you can shape it well. I count about 30 seconds on each side to cook on medium heat. So good! Our favorite since childhood, and a favorite of our children as well.
