Delicious juicy meat bun

The bun’s bread tastes like the typical bread for buns. The bun’s meat filling tastes fine and it includes a quail egg and a chinese sausage. It is a big bun but there is more bread than the filling.

Bought it for son previously, he said it was good, so we are now trying it

let's start with the positive: the meat had a great consistency. bouncy and snappy with a good ratio of fat. the not so positive: the bao was a bit dense and dry. but it did have a good flavor. I did cook it wrapped in a paper towel in the microwave tho. so maybe steaming might have been better? there was practically no vegetable (cabbage) at all, but I suppose that would also be a positive for some people who like that veggies aren't used as a filler. the major reason for the one star off is the Chinese sausage. I love love love Chinese sausage. except for whatever kind was used in this bao. it was really greasy, with a mealy texture, and actually tasted rancid to me. the quail egg had a powdery yolk and rubbery whites.

The dough is super chewy even though I steamed it on a colander. The filling is just ok, not really special. Ordered 6 buns but I will not buy again.

The bun is soft , the filling kinda salty (for my opinion) but still taste good!

Bigger than I thought but the flavor is not that interesting for me. It’ just ok, not too outstanding.
