Fresh meat
This was the first time I bought these pork neck bones. When I made soup, they had a fishy, foul smell. I don't know why. I soaked them in salt water for half an hour and blanched them, but they still had an unpleasant odor and no meaty aroma. I will never buy them again.

The shoulder butt has a bit more fat on top than I prefer, but the char siu I made using the air fryer turned out fine.
Bought 3 pieces of meat at once, only one piece looked like the food promotion picture and was bloated and thawed! The other 2 pieces of fat were too much! False advertising! Be careful!

Why is it so messy?
Air fry for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through. It's super convenient, and the kids loved it; they finished it in no time. Next time, I'll try making meatballs.

Portion smaller than expected
I drained the blood and made gamjatang. It was delicious because it didn't have any gamey smell or feel tough.
It's cold, so I made gamjatang. I soaked it in water for about four hours to remove the blood, so there's not much of a gamey smell.
