Personally I don't feel like the taste and texture are affected by the freezing; and it's so convenient because I don't have to peel and prepare them like fresh taros. The 1lb package size is also perfect for what I need. Just use 1 or 2 or 3 bags. When I bought fresh ones, I'd usually end up with leftovers anyway. I hope Weee doesn't ever stop selling them!

Cook one dish first to remove the saltiness and defrost (put it in the refrigerator for 48 hours and it will still be as solid as ice). If you are eating hot pot, you don't need this step. Weee ’s repurchase order wins another victory!
