Golden Saba's flagship product is the Microwavable Saba Bananas. These are fully-cooked, peeled, and frozen to lock-in the fresh taste and unique flavor of Saba bananas. It is packed in ready-to-heat, microwaveable packaging convenient for bringing anywhere, and for snacking anytime. These bananas can also be used in various dishes such as the Filipino Beef Stew “Nilagang Baka”, Pochero, among others.

Sliced Saba

  • Fully Cooked, Peeled

  • Frozen using Individual Quick Freezing (IQF)

  • 15 to 20 mm per banana slice

  • Packaging:

    • 1 lb / 454.5 g retail, microwavable bag

    • Serving Suggestions: Microwaved, Boiled, Steamed or Fried.

Microwaved:

To heat the whole pack, directly place Golden Saba microwavable pack in a microwave oven. To heat, a few pieces placed the desired number of pieces in a microwavable safe container with cover. Set at high temperature. Heat for 5 to 6 minutes until Golden Saba Saba Bananas are tender. Let stand for 1 minute before serving. Serve warm alone or with caramel syrup.

Note: Heating times may vary depending on the oven wattage and the number of bananas heated at one time.
