This is a 4x concentrated all-purpose seasoning that can be used for a variety of dishes, including somen and udon.
Kuhara Soy Sauce "Ago Dashi Soup 500ml (4x concentrated)" is a versatile concentrated soup made with carefully selected ingredients and manufacturing methods. In order to carefully extract multiple dashi ingredients such as grilled flying fish, bonito flakes, kelp, and shiitake mushrooms and maximize their flavor, we use a two-stage extraction method in which the grilled flying fish is prepared in its entirety and then powdered. In addition, we combine it with a rounded soy sauce that has been pasteurized in-house and then left to sit for several days to achieve an elegant and deep flavor. Because it is 4x concentrated, it can be used not only as a soup for somen and udon, but also as a seasoning for a variety of Japanese and everyday dishes, such as simmered dishes, rice bowls, fried chicken, and rolled omelets. As a guideline for use, dilute 50ml of this product with 150ml of water for somen noodles, and 30ml of this product with 240ml of water for udon noodles. It comes in an easy-to-use paper pack and is compact enough to fit easily in the refrigerator.
