There is a shelf life and the taste is not to my liking.

It's hard to drink. It's all artificial. Nestle has a rabbit's chocolate powder that tastes better, but it's not as natural as the fresh chocolate milk sold in the supermarket. Organic full-fat chocolate milk is really hard to come by in supermarkets, so I have no choice but to buy milk powder.
